What is KeokVerse?
KeokVerse is a collaborative collecting platform currently focused on beverage cans. Its goal is to bring together in one place the most complete catalogue of cans from around the world and give every collector tools to manage, display and share their collection.
Anyone can browse the catalogue and public collections without registering. If you want to add your own collection, participate in the community or contribute to the catalogue, you just need to create a free account.
Getting started
Getting started on KeokVerse is very simple. Follow these steps:

The Catalogue
The catalogue is KeokVerse's collaborative database. It contains detailed entries for beverage cans from all over the world, with technical, historical and visual information.
What information does each entry contain?
- Photos — main image, label and additional photos contributed by the community.
- Brand and manufacturer — commercial brand and the company that made the can.
- Country of origin — where it was manufactured or marketed.
- Year — year of manufacture or marketing, when known.
- Capacity and alcohol — volume in cl and alcohol content.
- Material — aluminium, tinplate or other materials.
- Beverage type — beer, soft drink, energy drink, etc.
- Can manufacturer — the company that made the can (not the beverage).
- Reference and barcode — unique identifiers.
How are new cans added to the catalogue?
Any registered user can propose new entries. Go to Add can and fill in the available details. The more information you provide, the more useful the entry will be for everyone. Entries can be completed and corrected collaboratively by the community.
Shared listings and changes
In KeokVerse, catalogue listings are collaborative: one user creates them and others can add them to their own collection. Here we explain how this circuit works and what happens when someone wants to make changes.
How do you adopt a listing?
Any collector can add a can that already exists in the catalogue to their collection without having to create it from scratch.
- 1Search for the can in the catalogueUse the search to find the can you have.
- 2Add it to your collectionPress the "I have this can" button. The listing is shared: catalogue data is common, but you can add your own serial number, price, condition, origin and notes.
- 3Your collection growsThe can appears in your collection with all your personal data. Other collectors who have the same can appear in the listing's collectors section.
What happens if the creator modifies the listing?
If the original creator edits a listing that other collectors already have in their collection, KeokVerse protects everyone's data.
- 1A new listing is createdThe system automatically generates a new listing with the creator's changes, keeping the original listing intact for everyone else.
- 2Collectors receive a notificationAn alert appears in your collection and in the notification bell indicating that changes are available for one of your cans.
- 3The comparison tool opensYou can see the original and new listing side by side, compare each field and decide which version you prefer.
What options do you have when receiving a change?
Clicking the notification opens the comparison tool with both versions. From there you have two options:
Can I modify the listing myself?
If you are the original creator of the listing, you can edit it at any time from its detail page. If other people have it in their collection, the notification circuit described above will be applied. If you are the only one who has it, changes are applied directly without creating a new listing.
The can comparator
The comparator lets you view two or more can listings side by side to analyse their differences in detail. It is especially useful when you receive a change alert for one of your cans, but you can also use it freely to compare any combination of cans from the catalogue.
Comparator in the change flow
When the creator of a listing you have in your collection modifies it, you will receive a notification. Accessing the comparator from that notification you will see:
- Your current version on the left — the listing you have in your collection as it is now.
- The proposed version on the right — the new listing with the creator's changes. Fields that differ are highlighted in orange.
- Two decision buttons: Accept changes (switch to the new listing) or Keep current (stay with the original).
Free use of the comparator
You can also use the comparator at any time to compare cans manually, without any pending changes:
- Search for any can in the catalogue and click the compare icon on the card.
- You can add up to 4 cans at a time to compare them simultaneously.
- Click on any photo to view it enlarged in the lightbox.
Which fields are compared?
The comparator shows all catalogue data in parallel: name, brand, year, capacity, alcohol content, material, container type, country of origin, graphic design, barcode and more. Fields with differences are visually highlighted.
Your Collection
Your collection is your private space where you record the cans you physically own. You can control what information is publicly visible and what is only for you.
Data you can save per can
- Personal ID — your own inventory number.
- Your own photos — multiple photos of your specific copy.
- Price paid — what you paid for the can.
- Condition — assessment of the physical condition of the can.
- Source — where you got the can.
- Acquisition date — when you added it to your collection.
- Personal notes — any annotation you want to remember.
- Lot — group cans you acquired together.
Collection visibility
From your profile you can configure which parts of your collection are public. Private data (price paid, notes, personal ID) is never visible to other users.
Completed data
Each entry shows a completed data indicator showing what percentage of the catalogue's informational fields are filled in. This helps identify entries that need more information.

- Your duplicates are visible on your public profile so other collectors can see them.
- Other users can contact you through the contact form on your collection page.
- You can browse other collectors' duplicates in the Duplicates section.
Your Public Profile
